The Piano Lesson – Family Tree and Reflection

The Piano Lesson explores African Americans’ relationship to family history, particularly to the history of their slave ancestors. Because the family lineage is important in this play, you are going to investigate your family history by constructing a family tree. You will not be graded on the how many generations you know, but rather the effort you put into the assignment.

Due: Friday, December 3
